                           Purchase of Own Securities


On 19th September 2006 Colefax Group plc bought for cancellation a total of
110,000 shares of 10 pence each (representing 0.59 per cent of the issued
ordinary share capital of the Company) at a price of £2.00 per share.


Following the cancellation of these shares there will be 16,730,000 shares in
issue.
