                           Purchase of Own Securities


On 25th January 2007 Colefax Group plc bought for cancellation a total of
580,068 ordinary shares of 10 pence each ('Ordinary Shares') (representing 3.5
per cent of the issued ordinary share capital of the Company) at a price of
£2.08 per share.


Following the cancellation of these shares there will be 15,888,932 Ordinary
Shares in issue.
