                           Purchase of Own Securities


On 30th March 2007 Colefax Group plc bought for cancellation a total of 235,000
ordinary shares of 10 pence each ('Ordinary Shares') representing 1.47 per cent
of the issued ordinary share capital of the Company at a price of £2.10 per
share.


Following the cancellation of these shares there will be 15,653,932 Ordinary
Shares in issue.
