                          Purchase of Own Securities






On 6th February 2008 Colefax Group plc bought for cancellation a total of
118,000 ordinary shares of 10 pence each ('Ordinary Shares') representing
approximately 0.76% per cent. of the voting rights in, and the issued ordinary
share capital of, the Company at a price of 166 pence per share.


Following the cancellation of these shares there will be 15,360,000 Ordinary
Shares in issue with each Ordinary Share carrying the right to one vote.
