                             Grant of ESOP Options

The Company today announces that options have been granted for nil consideration
pursuant to agreements made between Halifax EES Trustees International Limited
of 31/33 New Street, St Helier, Jersey JE4 8YW as trustees of the Colefax Group
Plc Employees' Share Ownership Trust (the 'Trustees') and the Directors named
below:

The options were granted by the Trustees on 30th April 2008 and the aggregate
exercise price per option payable by each person is £1 in total. The options are
exercisable immediately but the shares may not be sold within three years of the
grant date. The options expire on 29th April 2018. The ESOP shares were acquired
by the Colefax Group Plc Employees Share Ownership Plan Trust between October
1995 and September 2000 at an average cost of 65 pence per share.

In addition to the above options the following ESOP options are outstanding:
