Purchase of Own Securities




On 27 October 2008 Colefax Group plc bought for cancellation a total of 50,000 ordinary shares
of 10 pence each ('Ordinary Shares') representing approximately 0.34 per cent of the voting rights
in, and the issued ordinary share capital of, the Company at a price of 89.062 pence per share.


Following the cancellation of these shares there will be 14,810,000 Ordinary Shares in issue with
each Ordinary Share carrying the right to one vote.
